THE DESIGNERFIXING FRICTION

Before I even knew digital design was a career path, I was the kid with a sketchbook glued to my hands. Drawing and dreaming up characters were my daily fuel. It was my way of understanding the world and bringing ideas to life, long before I ever touched a digital canvas.

As my world became more digital, my curiosity naturally shifted from the paper to the screen. Whether I was analyzing the interface of a new video game or navigating everyday apps, I became hyper-aware of how people interacted with technology. I realized that the same empathy required to tell a story through art was exactly what was needed to build a seamless user experience.

Then, I discovered Figma, and it felt like unlocking a new superpower. What started as playing around with UI quickly evolved into a full-blown passion. I completely fell in love with the intersection of logic and creativity—the realization that design isn't just about making things look aesthetically pleasing, but about solving real, complex human problems.

Today, with six years of product design under my belt, that original drive hasn't changed. Whether I'm mapping out a complex healthcare flow or sketching just for fun, the core goal is always the same.

Design wasn't a career I stumbled into. It was just the thing I never stopped doing.
